Yes! In many cases, it can be a lovely way for the whole family to enjoy some relaxing time together.
How young can a child be?
There isn’t one exact age that works for every child. Very young babies are a different situation, as infant massage is not the same as a traditional Thai massage.
For children who are old enough to comfortably take part in a massage, we adapt the experience to their age, size and comfort. The important thing is that the child feels relaxed and happy.
If you are unsure, just ask us before booking. Tell us your child’s age and we can talk about what would be suitable.
What if one hour is too long?
Our children’s massage is listed as one hour, but we understand that an hour can sometimes feel like a long time for a younger child.
Some children will happily enjoy the full hour. Others may decide they have had enough sooner.
That’s perfectly fine. The massage should suit the child, not the other way around.
If the child finishes before Mum or Dad, we can adapt to the situation. Depending on their age, they may simply relax comfortably while the parent finishes their massage — perhaps with a couple of pillows and something to watch on a phone or iPad.
Can we all have our massages at the same time?
That’s one of the nice things about a family visit.
Mum and Dad can enjoy their own massage while the child has theirs. Everyone gets some time to relax, without having to arrange separate visits.
And don’t worry if your child has never had a massage before. Just let us know, and we can make the experience as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
A family massage doesn’t have to be complicated. The goal is simply for everyone to enjoy it.
